Mente Sideral: la nueva producción musical de la banda de rock La Sexta

Rock band La Sexta surprises us with their new musical offering titled “Mente Sideral,” an EP composed of six original songs that embrace the versatility of the genre, and a special version of “No Time To Die.” The production fuses diverse currents of rock from around the world, reflecting the essence and unique identity of this Dominican-born band.

This work includes pieces that range from the introspective to the irreverent everyday. Such is the case with “Camino Solo,” which takes the listener on an emotional journey through its powerful lyrics and immersive melody, and “No Me Acuerdo,” which narrates the events that can occur after a night of drinking and having fun with friends.

The songs were written by Alex and Arturo Grullón in collaboration with Luis Estrella on the song «Zombie Parade.» They captured their deepest experiences and feelings in each verse, complemented by the energy and dynamism of Guillermo Perdomo’s drums and Iván Batista’s masterful sound mixing.

Production was led by Jonathan Piña, who contributed his experience and vision to create a sound that highlights the raw and authentic energy of La Sexta.

With a solid foundation in classic rock, but without neglecting influences from contemporary genres, La Sexta has managed to consolidate a distinctive sound characterized by its authenticity and passion. “Mente Sideral” is a reflection of the band’s musical maturity, which has positioned itself as one of the most promising acts in the Dominican rock scene.
