Apple Corps Ltd./Capitol/UMe publica hoy las colecciones 1962-1966 (‘The Red Album’) y 1967-1970 (‘The Blue Album’) de The Beatles en ediciones 2023. Desde que aparecieron por primera vez hace 50 años, estos álbumes han introducido a sucesivas generaciones a la música de The Beatles. Ahora, las listas de canciones de ambas colecciones se han ampliado, con todas las canciones mezcladas en auténtico estéreo y Dolby Atmos. Las nuevas colecciones en 4CD’s y vinilo de 180 gramos y 6LP’s reúnen «Red» y «Blue» en estuches. Los lanzamientos de hoy siguen a la presentación mundial de «Now And Then», la última canción de los Beatles. Lanzada la semana pasada con un éxito comercial, ventas sin precedentes y acompañada de un vídeo musical de gran belleza dirigido por Peter Jackson, «Now And Then» ha superado todas las expectativas de ventas y streaming. Esta última entrega de la historia discográfica de los Beatles está a punto de darles su mayor éxito en más de medio siglo.
Desde su debut en 1973, los álbumes de 1962-1966 («The Red Album») y 1967-1970 («The Blue Album») han llevado a innumerables oyentes de todas las edades y de todas las partes del mundo a ser fans de The Beatles de por vida, y siempre se han considerado la introducción definitiva a su obra. Ampliadas para su nueva edición 2023, las colecciones abarcan todo el canon grabado por los Beatles con 75 temas destacados, desde su primer sencillo, «Love Me Do», hasta el último, «Now And Then».
